About Our Director
Jacqui Frederick

has been certified to teach through examination by Dance Educators of America and has been dancing in Dutchess County since the age of three.

Jacqui has an extensive background in dance both as a student and a teacher over 50 years. During this time she has also attended multiple dance conventions, including Dance Olympus, Caravan, C.O. Dance, Tremaine, Pulse, and Dance Educators of America, as well as the International Dance Congress in Montreal, to keep up with the latest trends and techniques.

She has attended classes with Master Teachers and Choreographers such as Frank Hatchett, Nan Giordano, Charles Kelly, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio, Barry Youngblood, Gregg Russell, Judy Rice, Joe Tremaine, and Daryl Retter.

Jacqui was mentored for many years by our founder and former Director Wendy Frederick to take on this role. She has also been teaching at W.D.E for over 35 years.

Jacqui enjoys the challenge and rewards of working with dedicated dancers of all levels. She has an Associate degree in Business Administration from Hudson Valley Community College.

Jacqui and her husband Matt, are the proud parents of two boys. She is excited to be able to continue the family business and looking forward to offering caring and quality dance instruction in the Hudson Valley for years to come.
